Somewhere to start

I have decided to start blogging on my site.  Now I am officially freelance, there are things happening that only Em and I know about, and I thought this could be a good place to document what’s going on at themosse.com

It’s early days, and the freelance world is a spooky one, so her are some things that I have learnt so far:

  • It’s all a bit scary
  • It’s actually not that scary
  • Money makes you worried
  • You shouldn’t worry about money…no-one is going to pay you monthly, so don’t try and make a monthly wage.

Below are some robots.

    As the great man said…………….

    Come gather ’round people
    Wherever you roam
    And admit that the waters
    Around you have grown
    And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
    If your time to you
    Is worth savin’
    Then you better start swimmin’
Or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’.

    Hi Simon,

I’ve been at this game a fair few years now. I’m sure you’ll find this an insightful read: http://www.ldexterldesign.co.uk/2010/07/part-1-how-to-freelance-successfully/ and hopefully a few tips to keep you going over the lonely dark winter months.

    Good luck!
