Stitchy Shopify Theme in the Wild

I thought it might be interesting to list some of my favourite theme adaptations for Stitchy Theme in one place for others to see. Each one is used in a completely different way, with different branding and for different products and I think they show a glimpse into what’s possible with a theme as a starting place.

Agora Vintage Strapbacks

Agora Vintage Strapbacks, based in Leeds, have used the Stitchy Theme to put across a clean and simple design, choosing to remove the textures and reduce the font-size to suit their brand.

 Pretty Little Parcels

Pretty Little Parcels are based in Australia, and they’ve amended the font choice and font size to make their shop stand out.

Outer Hebrides Soap Shack

The Outer Hebrides Soap Shack changed the typography, background colour and font colours to suit their soft and friendly brand.

Merry Photo Props

Merry Photo Props (Canada) have just used powerful imagery of their products to compliment the theme in a largely unchanged state, although their content and own logo has set them apart from others using the theme.

The Red Dress Shoppe

The Red Dress Shoppe made changes to the homepage layout, typography, content, colour scheme and a number of other things to bend the Stitchy Theme to their purpose.  I think you’d be hard-pushed to guess where it came from without a hint or two :)

The Studio

Finally, with The Studio, all it took was the addition of a nice texture, some good colour and font changes and the  Stitchy Theme worked well for their homely look and brand style.

Wow, it must be a great feeling to see your work being used and coming to life in different ways.

    Well done!

Cheers Dan, yeah it’s really nice to see people being so creative. Hopefully it’s interesting for the theme purchasers too to see what’s possible.

I am setting up my shopify website and I am using your Stichy theme. Can you please tell me if there is a tutorial on adding side bar widgets to the theme?

Hi Michelle, thanks for the message and also buying Stitchy Theme. Shopify actually support this theme and can be contacted at, but it’s definitely worth having a look at the Support Centre for more ideas on how to achieve what you’d like. By default Stitchy Theme doesn’t support a side bar widget column, but I have seen others achieve this using the theme and some extra HTML and CSS (such as Red Dress Shoppe). I hope that helps a bit?
