Vintage China site goes live

Two photoshoots, one website design and a logo later, Aunties Vintage China has gone live. This is a site I’ve really enjoyed designing and building (with a freelance colleague of my called Jim Balchin), and it’s got some extra bits and pieces under the hood, so I thought I’d give you a quick run-down on what we’ve done:

  • 2 Photographic shoots (products only and 3 faux weddings!)
  • Logo design, illustration and branding
  • Web design and layout
  • Front-end built with Html and CSS
  • Gallery powered by Flickr
  • Integrated Twitter feed
  • Back-end Cake PHP bespoke CMS (aka Bedrock)

All of this was for the lovely Sue who has made the whole process very pleasant and has provided all sorts of photo/design-fodder for us to make her site just how she wants it.  Look forward to recommending a friend to her vintage goodies for hire.
